Girls' Track and Field: The Lady Kougars traveled to Purdue University Saturday for the Maverick Invite and performed very well in all events, winning three of them, the most in recent memory ! Pole Vault: 1. Haylee Hass-10-0, another win and another 10 foot jump for the very consistent area's best vaulter; 3. Jaslyne Robledo-8-0, an excellent first 2026 jump for the senior; High Jump: 1. tie Leah Hanselman-4-10, a sensational personal record (PR) tying jump for the junior, in her FIRST live jumping of the season ; 3. tie Addison Koselke, Brooklyn Whitt-both 4-8, Koselke ties her PR, and the freshman Whitt sets a new PR in just her second high school meet; Long jump: 3. Sophie Singleton-15-4 1/2; Shot put: 7. Olivia Adams-32-5; 12. Jackie Vander Woude-31-3 1/2, two excellent shot put efforts; 3200: 1. Jenna Walker-11:25.28, a dominant win for the multiple-sport star, in her first ever high school 3200; 6. Faith Terborg-12:37.60; 11. Ainsley Summers-13:45.63, a LIFETIME PR for the hard-working Summers, a very difficult feat indoors; 55 hurdles: 8. Cheyenne Flatt-10.34; 9. McKinley Dresbaugh-10.41; two excellent hurdle races by Flatt and Dresbaugh; 55 meter dash: 10. Elyce Gillette-7.78; 4x800 relay: 7. Grayce Stalbaum, excellent lead-off leg of 2:47.0; -Maddisyn Gray-Scarlet Skowronski, made up a lot of ground on the other teams;-Gwyn Radin-11:24.80; 4x200 relay: 6. Avery Myers, very swift opening leg of 28.3;-Singleton, the third event of the meet for the freshman;-Gabbi Diener- Gillette, strong runs by both seniors;-1:53.74; Distance Medley Relay: 3. Terborg, a very tough double of the 3200 and 1200 leg here for the senior; -Gillette-Reese Van Meter, a very fast 800 split leg of 2:35.4 to make up a ton of ground ; -Walker, ran down several more runners for the final overall finish of 3rd-13:22.15; 4x400 relay: 9. Dresbaugh,- an outstnding lead-off leg of 66.0;-Flatt-Annie Lindberg-Radin-4:45.26. Excellent meet, ladies!
